Worked out great

So I grabbed a USA eSIM for my holiday, wasn't sure what to expect. But yeah, it was pretty easy to get set up. Just scanned a code and boom, I had internet. Used it for maps and stuff, worked good. Didn't have any dead spots really. It was nice not having to worry about finding Wi-Fi all the time. Glad I tried it.

Perfect for my vacation!

I used the Japan eSIM for my two-week trip, and it was absolutely fantastic! The 5G speeds were super fast, and I had coverage everywhere I went. Setting it up was so easy, just a few clicks. I could check maps, post photos, and video call without any lag. Seriously a lifesaver for staying connected. I'm telling all my friends about Yoho Mobile, can't wait to use them again for my next adventure!

Decent option, some quirks

I got the Asia eSIM for a multi-country trip. The data coverage was generally solid across Thailand and Singapore, which was great for staying in touch. Activation was mostly smooth, though I had a small hiccup on one phone model that took a few extra minutes to resolve. The price point was competitive, and it certainly beat local physical SIMs for convenience. My only real gripe was that checking the data balance wasn't as intuitive as it could be; I had to go through their app which felt a bit clunky. Otherwise, it did what it promised.

Good for travel

I bought a Europe eSIM for my trip. Installation was simple. Data worked well in France and Italy. No issues with connection. It saved me money on roaming. Will use again for sure.

Smooth experience overall

I ordered the North America eSIM for a trip to the USA. The purchasing process was straightforward on their website. I received the activation QR code instantly via email. Installation on my iPhone was simple, just followed the instructions. Customer support answered a quick question about activation in minutes through their chat feature before I left. Data speeds were reliable, mostly 4G LTE, which was fine for navigation and messaging. I did notice a small dip in speed once in a more rural area, but nothing major. The plan lasted my whole trip without needing a top-up. Overall, a very good service.

Does Yoho Mobile give you a local phone number or is it just for data? Need to be able to make calls in Japan.

A Alex D. 1 month ago
It's just data, no local number. You'd need to use something like WhatsApp or another VoIP app for calls if you only have the eSIM.

Just data, dude. Think of it as a data-only SIM. If you need a number, a physical local SIM would be better, or maybe Google Voice.

What's the deal with refunds if I buy a plan but don't end up using all the data? Or if my trip gets canceled?

B Brian Garcia 1 week ago
Pretty sure they don't refund for unused data once it's active, afaik. But if your trip gets canceled before activation, you might be able to get a refund or at least credit. Check their policy page.

I had to cancel a trip once and got a refund for an unactivated plan. Was pretty straightforward. Once it's active though, don't expect money back for leftover data.

Hey, thinking of getting an eSIM for my Europe trip next month. Is Yoho Mobile reliable or should I just stick to Airalo?

B Betty Rodriguez 4 days ago
Used Yoho Mobile for my trip to Italy last year, worked great. No issues at all with coverage, even in smaller towns. Way better than hunting for local SIMs.

Honestly, they're pretty similar. I've used both and didn't notice a huge difference in performance. Maybe check which one has a better deal for your specific countries?

Can you use more than one discount code at checkout? Got a referral from a friend but also saw a 10% off banner.

J Josh 1 month ago
Nah, only one code per order. Tried it before, it just takes the last one you entered or sometimes throws an error.

Yeah, unfortunately, you can only use one coupon. Gotta pick the best one!
